Microlaryngoscopy / Videolaryngoscopy
We operate on the larynx or the voice box for people suffering from voice change. We either do Laser-assisted or co-ablation-assisted voice surgeries. They are done either with the help of a microlaryngoscope or a videolaryngoscope.
Office Procedures
Procedures done with the help of fibreoptic laryngoscope like injection laryngoplasty for vocal fold palsy, biopsies, diagnosis of tracheal or subglottic stenosis are done in the office. So that patients come and go home the same day.
Botox Clinic
For spasmodic dysphonia and cricopharyngeal spasm for difficulty in swallowing. Botox is used to relax the spasm so that the patient is relieved of his problem.
Endoscopic Nasal and skull base surgeries

Dr. Shama S Kovale is an eminent ENT surgeon in Mumbai with a Special Interest in Voice and Swallowing and has a vast experience of 20 years. After her post-graduation from the prestigious B.Y.L. Nair hospital, she has worked with Multiple hospitals like A.J.B ENT hospital, Hinduja hospital, Bhagwati hospital. She has gained a fellowship in Cochlear Implant with the best in the country and also trained with the best in the world for Voice and Swallowing at U.C Davis, California, U.S.A. She also completed her fellowship at Bombay Hospital awarded by the Association of Phonosurgeons of India in Voice and Swallowing. She has also authored many articles in peer-reviewed Journals. Awarded the Best Doc Mumbai 2020 and Top Docs Mumbai (Voice) in 2019 & 2020 in the field of Phonosurgery. She has been an invited faculty in various state and national conferences. Dr. Shama Kovale is currently working as a Consultant ENT Voice and Swallowing surgeon at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
